IDEM is an art print shop located in the heart of the Montparnasse district in Paris. The atelier was established in 1881 by map printer Emile Dufrenoy, who operated the studio until World War II. This historic place houses the lithographic presses of Fernand Mourlot, who collaborated with renowned 20th-century artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Miró, Chagall, Braque, and Giacometti. Each lithograph is marked with a special "IDEM PARIS" embossing, and one print from the edition is kept in the French National Library to confirm its authenticity.
